Murakami One Pot C emulsion was developed as a PVA-SBQ photopolymer emulsion for commercial and industrial graphic printers. One Pot C is also ideal for close tolerance imaging and electronic circuit board printers. One pot C is green in color and it has a solids content of 37% with 4500 CPS for excellent print definition. One Pot C is easy to reclaim and a pot life sensitized of 1-year. Once One Pot C is coated its screen life is 6 month under yellow safelights at room temperature.

Applications;

One pot C was developed for use with both commercial graphic printers as well as textile printers.

Data Facts:

Green in color, this SBQ pure photopolymer emulsion offers 37% sensitized solids and 4500 CPS sensitized viscosity. Excellent for plastisol and water-based graphic inks.  Once sensitized One pot C emulsion should last 1-year. One pot C will work well with mesh counts above 74 or higher.

Exposure Time Reference:

When using a 5-KW Metal Halide Exposure lamp on mesh counts from 74 to 200 as a guide set your exposure time between 45-50 seconds. On mesh counts of 200 to 300 allow 35 to 50 seconds exposure, and for mesh counts of 350 or more allow 20 to 30 seconds for exposure. Remenber, these exposure settings should only be used as a guide since exposure time will vary depending on equipment used, lamp life, type of emulsion, and applied coatings.

Coating Sequence:

It is not recommended to finish the last coating on the print side of the screen.  Finish the last coating on the squeege side. If the coating ends on the print side, the E.O.M. thickness will decrease and go thinner on the print side.  This will cause premature stencil breakdown and poor ink deposit.

Resolution and Hardness:

Some printers do underexpose the screen to have details of images resolved on the screen.  Unless the number of printing impressions is very low, underexposed screens with poor hardness will cause many problems in the printing process, such as premature breakdown, more fish eyes, and pinholes, locking up emulsions with inks, ink cleaners, or other chemicals.  It is important therefore, to locate and standardize a proper exposure time and a good hardness scale by mesh count and coating profiles.

Murakami One Pot C emulsion was designed for commercial, industrial graphics, electronic circuits, close tolerance, and compact disc printers.
