The MZX UL series of roller frames allows you to bring screen stretching in-house. This series is available in 18x20, 23x26, 23x31, and 23x38 models that are easy to work with. Each model is equipped with a square bar and 3-rollers that are 1 7/16" in diameter except for the 23x31 frame which is equipped with 4-rollers. Should you which a square bar on this size frame it is available at extra charge. In the process of screen printing, the best printing equipment in the world can do no better than the screens it holds. A good frame must be stable enough to maintain its squareness and flatness under force of the desired fabric tension. The MZX UL series meets the rigidity and stability requirements, allowing you to print with butt registration consistently.
With this in mind, even if a frame is stable and does not change however, the fabric does. The fibers of even the best fabrics, including the new low elongation fabrics begin to relax soon after the force of squeegee is applied. With a roller frame system high tension levels can be attained allowing the force in the screen to do the majority of the work in discharging the ink into the garment instead of the printer using enormous amounts of muscle force and energy trying to push the ink through a soft or less-tensioned screen. By using a self tensioning screen system and implementing a higher tension screen , light consistent squeegee stroke will discharge the ink cleanly, crisply, and softly onto the surface of the garment. When the squeegee pressure and inks are correctly adjusted, wasted ink will no longer appear in the inside of the garment or on the pallet.
